Fiber-optic Firework

Purchased one of those cheap fiber-optic toys so I could cut the fibers [which are stiffer in this form than if one were to buy, say, a spool] and attempt to use 'em as cat whiskers for my Kayen costume. Just to be clear, no, the whiskers will not glow once installed on the head. In regular light, they're whitish-clear, which should make 'em perfect for just plain old regular whiskers.

So, of course, just had to play with the toy for a while before snipping at it. Gotta admit, for about $6, it's pretty neat-o, and I'll have enough replacement whiskers to last a lifetime.

...as long as I can get it to work.
